Team Randy Callison

Randy is an original member of Group 1 Automotive (NYSE: GPI) and an instrumental contributor to its successful IPO in 1997. Randy was primarily responsible for effecting acquisitions that grew Group 1 revenue to $6.5 billion by 2006. Randy subsequently assumed oversight responsibility for all corporate operations staff and corporate development activity of the company’s 100+ stores as Senior Vice President, Operations and Corporate Development. Most recently, Randy was asked by Asbury Automotive Group's (NYSE: ABG) CEO to reestablish and train its acquisitions team. During this period, Randy led the acquisition of 75 new and used vehicle dealerships, growing topline company revenue by 60%. Early in his career, Randy served as GM, Controller, and CFO of several dealerships preceded by nine years as Audit Manager/Senior/Staff in Arthur Anderson’s audit division in automotive and other industries.

Randy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University. He resides in TX and NC with his wife Janet, frequently traveling to welcome new grandchildren from daughters Caroline and Kate.
