A premier automotive sales group in Southern California - for over 40 years, Sierra Auto Group has been part of the Southern California automotive landscape. Open Road supported Rinaldi Halim’s purchase of Sierra’s Chevrolet, Honda and Subaru stores by contributing the capital, while Rinaldi contributed his Los Angeles and Monrovia Dodge, Jeep, Ram stores into the partnership. Rinaldi and Open Road have since added Felix Chevrolet, received an open point award from a leading manufacturer, and will soon close on an acquisition under contract.

Pritchard has evolved into a commercial sales leader across brands throughout the US. Open Road’s minority equity investment provided the capitalization Pritchard required in order to manage the growth anticipated from its national customers who rely upon Pritchard’s capabilities to support their business plans.

The Herrin-Gear Automotive Group, a premier family-owned and operated dealership, was founded in 1968 by Carl Herrin and George Gear. This diverse portfolio, including BMW, Chevrolet, Infiniti, and Lexus dealerships is located in Jackson, MS. Open Road partnered with the Herrin Family, providing liquidity for financial diversification while the family maintained an equity stake, continued involvement, and preserved its multigenerational legacy in the business. As part of the transaction, 26 year employee Reed Howell became President of the group and an equity partner. The year following the investment Herrin-Gear Lexus received the Elite of Lexus Award, The highest awarded offered by the concerning customer satisfaction. Also, Herrin-Gear Chevrolet received the Elite Dealer of the Year award and is the unit volume leader in the state of MS.
