Ed specializes in OEM applications and approval for new acquisitions for Open Road. From 1975-1993, Ed held various positions with Subaru distributor, Subaru of America in Moorestown, NJ, eventually assuming the role of regional VP from 1989 to 1994 following the company’s acquisition by Subaru. Ed subsequently served as VP and controller of Dealer’s Alliance Credit Corp and of Cristal, Inc. In 2002, Ed joined Asbury Automotive Group as Director and Manager of Acquisitions where he was responsible for obtaining approval for acquisitions and sales of dealerships as well as facility changes from the OEMs.
Since 2014, Ed has been providing consulting services for OEM acquisition approvals for auto dealership acquirers. Ed works for Open Road as needed and was deeply involved in obtaining approval of its acquisitions in 2021.
