Open Road Capital is pleased to announce the addition of Peter Sheptak and Tony Taylor to the Open Road Capital team.
Peter Sheptak will fill the Vice President & General Counsel role for Open Road Capital. In addition to overseeing legal matters for Open Road Capital, Peter will be an integral member of Open Road’s deal team. Peter has over 30 years of experience in M&A, finance and private equity, including over 20 years in the automotive and transportation industries. Prior to joining Open Road, Peter worked for JM Family Enterprises, the holding company for Southeast Toyota Distributors, one of the two independent Toyota distributors in the US, and subsequently for Seven Isles Capital. Peter was also previously a partner in the law firm of Edwards & Angell (now Locke Lord) and a shareholder in the law firm of Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart. Peter resides in Palm Beach Gardens, FL with his wife and three children.
Tony Taylor joined Open Road Capital as the Director of Business Development. Tony will help lead the acquisition and growth efforts for the organization, identifying and qualifying dealer partners throughout the US. Tony brings over 20 years of experience in the automotive retail sector, having previously worked for Reynolds & Reynolds, VinSolutions as well as professional services firms Dixon Hughes Goodman (now FORVIS) and Withum. Tony resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife and two children.
