Team Shawn Kukic

Shawn Kukic is Chief Operating Officer of Open Road Capital, where he works closely with the company’s dealer partners and leadership team to drive operational performance, support strategic growth, and build scalable capabilities across the platform.

Shawn brings more than 20 years of automotive retail experience. Prior to joining Open Road, he spent nearly a decade with Lithia & Driveway, advancing through a series of senior operating leadership roles, including Group Vice President, Regional Vice President, and Operations President. After beginning his career in banking, Shawn entered automotive retail with #1 Cochran and later held leadership positions with Baierl Automotive.

Throughout his career, Shawn has focused on building high-performing teams, developing leaders, improving operating performance, and helping automotive retail businesses grow through acquisitions, integration, and organizational change.

Shawn earned his BSBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh. He also completed the General Dealership Management Program at the NADA Dealer Academy and the Executive Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. Shawn resides in Orlando, Florida, with his wife and two children.
